Google/Android has released a new keyboard app called the Gboard to the UK and USA, not sure what the G is for, but the keyboard has an integrated search feature which makes it even easier to share and find things on the Internet, and it's an iphones keyboard design but Android integrated. Also you can find emojis easier, by searching for it instead of having to find it. This has always been one of my biggest problems, and I think many others problems with the Android typing system. And one of the best features is the ability called glide swiped which allows you to create words without lifting your finger from the screen, which is good if you're trying to type really quick. Gboard is coming to Android soon. It's already available on Apple products. I honestly think this app sounds pretty promising.

Iphone's small yet huge advantage over Android
Some may be unhappy with their phone's small flaws, but overall pretty satisfied. However, Iphone owners are happiest as shown by American Customer satisfaction Index report, but only barely. This year in customer satisfaction, Samsung only scored 80 out of 100, while Apple gained the upper hand with 81 out of 100. The Iphone 6 an 6 plus are what helped Apple's customer satisfaction in the first place, which was to be expected as they are the bigger phones and they were highly anticipated iphones since the Iphone 5. Samsung also had room to congratulate themselves as well, as the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 took first place with a grade of 86 ahead of Apple's Iphone 6S Plus, which had a high score 85. Samsung tied with Apple for third and fourth place with it's Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and Galaxy Note 4. Every category I say was equal, but it was the battery life that really kills it for Samsung. For example, take the Samsung Galaxy S6. The phone is phenomenal and a huge step up, you see how succesful it is. But it's battery life is just bad compared to Apple's Iphone's, probably because the phone has better specs. Meaning in the future, if Android can improve battery life while keeping the same specs, i think android will be a lot better.

A Genuine Android Gaming Console
There are plenty of Android gaming devices that have been strictly dedicated to gaming as handhelds, but most of them have been failures. They usually are believed to rival gaming products such as Nintendo Ds, the Wii U, and even Sony and Microsoft consoles as well as handhelds. For example the Ouya, might have made millions on kickstarter but it had bugs and it had bad sales so Razer ended up buying the company. Nvidia shield gaming handhelds came closest to getting an Android gaming machine to be taken seriously. They usually sport the best controls and designs. Heres a picture of a Nvidia gaming handheld for the Android phone below:
However, the devices usually fall short of everything expected and wanted. But we may have found the Android gaming machine we've been waiting for: the Nvidia JXD S192, which is powered by the Nvidia Tegra K1 quad core processor and the 2 GHz ARM cortex-A15 chip. The bad boy also sports 2 gigs of ram, which is decent. As for the screen it's pretty nice, with a full 8 inch HD display with 323 ppi. Stereo speakers are built in, a rear camera of 13 megapixels, and a front camera with 5 mega pixels. A gamepad is built around the screen that has Xbox style buttons and analog sticks. You may also use separate USB or Bluetooth controls. There is a 10,000 mAh battery, which is pretty decent. So you could play for 6 hours straight, and if not then you can use the Internet for 57 hours. It comes with 18 pre installed gaming emulators for different consoles and handhelds, old and new, such as Dream cast, SNES, NES, N64, Mega drive and psone, and that's only a few. This sounds amazing, I'd love to be able to play all my childhood ganes on the go and at a faster speed then before, all on the device. The device comes with Android 4.2.2 google play, so pretty up to date. The device has been being pre-order able for a few months now, at around $219.99.

The most official iphone 7 rumors and pics?
There are only a few months left until the release of the Iphone 7 and it's variations, and there are leaks already. This makes sense as iphone 7 production has been announced, and workers cant keep the news to themselves when they get new parts. There is a mega negativity on Apple's part because of the widely shared belief by the IPhone consumers that the IPhone 7 will be boring. This is based on the Iphone's rumored design, which is rumored to look like 2014's IPhone 6 or the current latest iPhone 6S. This is pretty shocking to me, as I honestly never thought the fans would see how obvious is that IPhone designs are usually strikingly similar when its just a variant of a recently released IPhone. However, this wouldn't be a big deal as the fans would still buy it of course. In the photo below, we see what is probably a real IPhone 7, as the leaked image was released on a foreign website, which usually leaks real images of upcoming phones. The phone below looks a lot like the IPhone 6 and iPhone 6S, but hey, who knows what the front looks like. Also, even if the design may not be the most amazing feature some may have been expecting, and again, there still may be a chance that this isn't the real phone as it's only a leaked image, the phone's camera seems promising. I mean look at that camera! It's huge. Probably going to be better than the last iphone's. But it looks pretty real to me. Is this the real thing? We can never know for sure, and even if most things point to it being the real thing, why would Apple release leaked images of the next IPhone that looks too similar to the previous ones? I'm not sure. But I do know this: We shouldn't expect much of a difference from this when the phone is released this upcoming September, because there isn't much time left to make many changes.

Android N vs IOS 9
Google revealed the new Android operating system is called Android N. "Android N" supposedly is getting better features than those of the new apple software, IOS 9. Android N is going to get beefed up security updates and new emojis. Google's update will come this September. Some of the ways Android N will have some perks over IOS 9 and vise versa. Google Assistant, will let you talk with the Android device, from bringing you to a website, to making an resteraunt reservation, so similar to Apple's siri. Split screen is on IOS 9, but only on the IPad and not the Iphone, well, yet. But for Android N, it will be on both phones and tablets. Instant apps will let you access apps without actually installing the app itself. This will come in handy for example quick pay app, you can use quick pay without having to use whatevee the phone would normally make you use. It also saves space. Currently IOS 9 has no counter against this. Some things Android N and IOS 9 noth have are replying with notifications, which lets you reply within the notification menu to texts; Android has night mode, which reduces eye strain at nighr when viewing your phones bright screen, and IOS has practically the same thing, except its called night shift. I'd personally have Android N as my phones software, it has more advantages over IOS. But thats just me. Some people dont care.

IPhone of the future?
Recently its been rumored that the Iphone will ditch the usual design, and have an edge to edge display, which is rumored to look like a piece of glass with a iphones screen. I don't think this is the greatest idea, and it's also rumored that it's going to have no home button. Why? What's can even replace the home button? The phone is probably gonna be called the iphone 7s or iphone 8, and the touch id sensor will be on the bottom. This is because the entire face will probably be the display. At this point, it sounds to me like apple is just trying too hard with the futuristic theme of Iphones. First we hear that future Iphones will probably have no earphone port, and now everything is going to be implemented into the front facing screen? This shouldnt be possible unless the phone shrinks to fit the size of the screen, or if the screen expands to fit the iphone. Apple sure are risk takers. But to be fair, people will buy anything they give them.

Apples Iphone 7 Pro: Success or Failure?
![]() |
Leaked IPhone 7 Pro Scans |
Recently, Apple has been having a bad week, because leaked images of the Iphone 7 Pro have been leaked online. It's widely predicted it will be better than the IPhone 7 Plus. However, it doesn't look that way at all. First of all, the headphone jack will indeed not be a feature of the phone. And guess what will replace the headphone jack? Nothing. It was originally predicted that it would have a second speaker, which would just make the volume louder, not serve as earphones. You would have to get bluetooth earphones instead. That's fine, as long as it comes with them. Another risk is the IPhone 7 Pro's design, which is rumored to be the same chassis design as the original IPhone 6, remain 7.33m thick(same as the IPhone 6S Plus) and 0.44mm thicker than the IPhone 6 Plus.Who would want to buy an Iphone thats not much different from the last, plus it doesnt even let you use earphones? Well, considering how good Iphone sales are these days, i'd say plenty of people. Still, Apple sure are risk takers. But before you call the Iphone 7 Pro garbage, rest assure: there is good news.

IPhone 7 Pro Leaked design |
The good news is the rumored dual lens camera. It's unknown what special feature it will have, maybe wide angle shots like the LG G5, or better zooming, but it's suggested something better than any IPhone camera before it. However, rumors has it that the Pro will be the only IPhone 7 to contain the dual lens. Another rumor states that the dual lens bulge is set to increase, causing it to look quite odd.

More customization for Iphone?
Apple may be finally letting you hide Iphone apps you want to remove from your home screen. I find it so annoying that you can't take off home screen apps on the Iphone. That's one of the many reasons I have android instead. Having control over this should be mandatory. Some apps are just a little personal. After an Itunes metadata examination(app info is found) it was discovered that every app now includes two new codes

The Samsung Galaxy S7 Active
You know how the newest Android phone out has been released, the Samsung Galaxy S7? Well it's successor has accidentally been announced: The Samsung Galaxy S7 Active. The Active series of galaxy phones started in 2013, with the ruggedized, waterproof version of the Galaxy S4. Every Galaxy phone with an "S" has had an Active version come out. Another common ability of previous galaxy phones are increased battery capacity. The S6 active had a 3500 mAh battery in place of the regular S6's 2800 mAh. The S7 will probably have more battery life than the previous models. The S7 Active's release date is currently unknown, but it will likely come out shortly after the S7,which recently came out. So i'd say a month or two considering that was the case with the S4 and the S4 active. I honestly think the whole Active series is a good idea, because it gives Samsung time to develop new phones while people are just getting the new S7 and S7 active and edge.

Apple has something up their sleeve...
Apple says they're next IPhone will have an AMOLED screen that puts it on par with Samsung galaxy phones. It will also be curved. The phone will come in 2017 rumors say. An AMOLED screen has several advantages over the LCD screen used on past IPhones. OLED displays are thinner and lighter and more flexible than LCD screens. They are more power effecient, so more battery life in the long run. This is definitely a smart move by Apple, as this can really give android some competition. The new phone is also expected to have tap wireless charging, which is an innovative new move in the tech industry. Instead of going through the "trouble"of plugging your charger into your phone, now you can lay your phone on your charging pad. Sounds totally more efficient, right? Well, actually, for some it can be. Some chargers don't work anymore because of damage to the cord, but now, not gonna happen! In my opinion, this upcoming IPhone doesn't sound bad at all.

The BlackBerry Priv
Remember back when smart phones had physical keyboards? At the time it was frustrating to type things, but even more so to type things on a virtual keyboard, which is why physical keyboards were a must. Today, virtual keyboards are much better, and are primarily used. Are physical keyboards still used? Yes. Those phones aren't running the Android OS we all know and love though. At least, not until now. Blackberry, has decided to take a break from the BB10 platform and has given android a shot. To do this, android is going to intigrate it's phones with android in a way that attracts new people to the black berry without causing it's normal users to walk away either. The first phone to really attempt this is the "Blackberry priv".

Iphone safer than android?
I like my phone safe, which is why i'm having second thoughts about the safety of my Android. Iphone's on the other hand, are all about safety. IPhone's passcode system is much safer than androids. Sure they both have the basic four digit passcode system, but Iphones have your data erased if you get it wrong 10 times. Most android phones don't have this feature. Android phone have a long history of privacy-hostile behavior. Apple cares much more about their customers, while google/android is more of an advertising business. Android/Google has been accused of providing the government with information about their citizens, and prohibiting anonymous accounts on various occasions. Its also much easier to catch a virus on android/Google phones than Iphones. This is because of apple limiting customization through out their phones.
So in the end I'd say even though the iPhone is safer, android can be just as safe as long as you keep it safe and are aware. Sadly, however, the majority don't know this and end up with virus infestations. So just keep that in mind before you choose which type of phone you're getting.

It's almost here: The samsung galaxy s7

Official Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Plus phones. |
It's official. The galaxy S7 is being released on March 11, 2016 in the UK and US. The phone's specs are mostly the same as they were predicted: 5.1 inch display size/ 2560x1440 pixels, 576 ppi, 5.6x2.7x0.3 in, 142.4x69.6x7.9 mm, weighs 5.4 oz, has Android marshmallow 6.0, 12 mega pixel camera, 5 mega pixel front facing camera, 4K video capture, 2.15 Ghz + 1.6 GHz quad core qualcomm snapdragon 820 processor, black onyx and gold platinum colors, 200 GB expandble storage, the home button is a finger print sensor, micro-USB connector, and the price is to be announced while off contract, but we know one thing for sure: it will be expensive. I think this phone will be good competition for the Iphone 7, as they are coming out around the same time and have similar specs.

Update to the unreleased Iphone 7

A blast from the Past! IPhone 5 reboot?
I remember when the Iphone 5 was big back in 2012-2013. Now, it's basically forgotten. However, after several bigger and more powerful Iphones in a row, in March-April 2016, Apple reportedly is releasing the "Iphone 5se", an update to the IPhone 5, before the anticipated IPhone 7. The "se" suffix is short for "special edition". The new "se" will have upgraded software and hardware, combining features from the older IPhone 5 model, and features that have come with the recent iPhone models. Also curved glass edges like the IPhone 6 and 6S, an 8 mega-pixel rear camera, and 1.2 megapixels front cameras from the IPhone 6, and other photo and video features. I find this similar to the IPhone 5C, a faster and plastic material version of the IPhone 5, which came out a year after the IPhone 5. The phone will come with the same color options as the IPhone 6s: Space gray, silver, gold, and rose gold. The screen will be 4-inches, also the same as the IPhone 5. Personally, I find this smart as it will hold over IPhone users until the IPhone 7 comes out, and it really sounds like a good phone. It will be, without a doubt, a successful IPhone, and the best one for it's time. I wouldn't be surprised if Android has something up their sleeve, though.

Android&Iphone:today
IPhone and android phones are both very successful companies. For some it's hard to choose. However, it's up to you to decide which is the best, Android or Iphone? What apple has done better is software updates. IOS 9.2 and IOS 9.2.1 came out early December 2015, and a third set is coming soon: IOS-9.3. These updates are for almost all apple devices, even the 2011 IPhone 4S. As for Android/Google's operating system, the latest is Android 6.0 marshmallow, which was released in late September and is found on less than 1% of android devices worldwide. So unless you have a newer, more expensive android device, you rarely receive software updates for your android phone. Another big area apple wins is the apps. IOS gets apps first. The live streaming app periscope was available for apple two months before android, facebook's paper app and new sports stadium are only available for the iPhone as well. And the list goes on. Apple and Android both contain Touch ID, and apple's proves far more quick. I've used my Samsung Galaxy S6's touch ID before, and sadly takes at least 3.5-4 seconds, while on the Iphones, it only takes a matter of 2. So clearly Iphone is much more faster and efficient when it comes to get going on your device.
IPhones have to be charged 1-2 times a day, and takes about 2.5 hours to charge from 0 to full. That's not the case for android, as most high end android phones can get a 8 hour battery life from a 15 minute charge. So Iphones need to step their game up when it comes to battery life, maybe we'll see an improvement in the rumored Iphone 7? Android's front facing speakers are louder than an Iphone's too, although they both are clear. And lastly, one of the most addressed factors in deciding to buy and android or iPhone, the freedom, customization, and efficiency. Android gives the user freedom over almost every part of the OS. Were talking customizable app icons, the default web browser, downloading music online, and more features. Also, things that take shorter amounts of time on android, take extra steps on an iPhone, such as simply setting the WIFI. As of right now, i'd say android is doing better. Even though iPhone has faster updates than android, android's usually come later to bring many improvements, where iphones only tweak it up a bit. As for apps, although Iphone gets exclusive apps, and new apps quicker, android gets exclusive apps of their own, and waiting for the app to come to android is never too long of a wait. Personally, Touch ID loading time on my Galaxy S6's doesn't bother me very much. Based off these points, I recommend an android phone.
